March 2006!

Here are some of the many happy tails, thanks to FOCCAs!

Friends Of Coos County Animals or FOCCAs was started in August 2005.  They were organized as a corporation in March 2006.  From 8/05 to 12/05 they raised enough money for 30 spays/neuters, gave hundreds of dollars of quality flea control to the shelter animals, provided kennel crates, live animal traps, cal litter, and KMR for orphan kittens. FOCCAs has also created an information center for the public as well as adopted 30 animals from the shelter at local festivals and Pony Village Mall.  They can be found at Pony Village Mall every Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. and will also be attending all local festivals in the summer and fall.
