Hi,  This is just a note from the young Golden Retriever that used to be in kennel 20 last week. 

I thought it might be a good idea to bring you up to date on the new family I have.  When we left the Shelter, Saturday, they took me right down to Dr. Powells for a rabies shot and some Revolution.

They also stopped and bought me some toys and rawhide chews.  I was chouffered around town and introduced to their friends and then it was off to inspect my new "digs".  Not bad......a place out in the country and we go for a walk at least twice a day.  These people really seem to like to walk, because anytime I go to the door we go for a walk.  I have been bathed and brushed and blowdried.  It feels almost like a spa here. And they keep calling me "Baggins", after Bilbo Baggins from the Hobbit.  I think that is my new name. Today they even took me out to the beach to run.  What a great time I had.  I ran and ran and splashed in the creek and rolled in the sand.  It was so much fun.  You know?, I think I just might make this my forever home.  Below is a picture that the leader of this little pack took today.  Don't we look happy together?
